The rocket bottle experiment will amaze the kids in your Sunday School class, especially the boys. It is very simple to do, all you need to prepare are the following.
- A 2 liter soda bottle
- 3 pencils
- Tape
- Vinegar
- Baking soda
- A cork that will fit the mouth of the soda bottle
What you need to do first is tape the pencils to build a stand for the water bottle. Put about 3 inches of vinegar into the soda bottle. Put in some baking soda and cover the bottle with the cork. Do not fit the cork too tight to allow the rocket bottle to launch. Place in an open space for safety.
