Dancing Worms Experiment

Awesome-Kids-Science-Make-Worms-Dance-672x1024

To do the fun dancing worms experiment, prepare the following:

  1. Gummy worms
  2. 2 clear cups
  3. Vinegar
  4. Baking soda
  5. Cutting board
  6. Knife

Pour water in one cup and then put 3 tablespoons of baking soda. Then mix the solution.

Cut the gummy worms into half and soak it for 15 minutes in the baking soda mixture.

Fill the 2nd cup with vinegar. Fish out the gummy worms from the cup with the baking soda mixture and then put it in the cup with vinegar.

You will then see the gummy worms form bubbles around it and it will start to dance around the cup with vinegar. Pretty cool, huh?
