You’ve probably given a PowerPoint presentation outside of your office. If so, you know it involves either dragging your laptop along or making sure that your PowerPoint version or memory stick is compatible. How feasible is it to use a tablet or smart phone for your presentation? You have many options for adapters and software programs that can make this possible. www office com setup
You can give a PowerPoint presentation using your tablet or mobile phone by creating the presentation on your PC or Mac with Microsoft PowerPoint and then viewing the presentation in specific software from your smartphone. Prepare the slides using your PC or Mac. Once you are done, add any new slides, fill them with text, images, and save the presentation. You will need all the hardware components, including your tablet or mobile phone. Also include any adapters and cables that may be required. Projectors usually have one of two types of ports: a digital HDMI, analogue VGA or a combination. While older projectors may have both HDMI and VGA connections, newer models will likely have one. Make sure to check the type of connection that you need if you are giving a presentation far from home. Apple may be able to supply adapters that are proprietary for their devices. However, cables may still be needed. Android tablets and phones come with different HDMI adapters. The correct cable, along with the mini HDMI adapter, will allow you to plug directly into your HDMI projector port.
Next, you will need to install a PowerPoint viewing application on your device. You can choose from a variety of apps, depending on what you need and which platform you are using. Quick office Pro has an app that is compatible with both Android and Apple OS devices. Slide Shark, another app for viewing PowerPoint presentations is currently only available on Apple OS. However, an Android version of the app is in development.
After you’ve found the right app to view your file, you need to transfer it onto your mobile device. You can do this by emailing yourself, or copying the file from a flash card (if you have one). You could also use cloud-based solutions such as Dropbox and Google Drive. Some viewer apps may allow you to upload to an internet account.
Once everything is set up, make sure you test it and ensure that it works as it should. To test a VGA connection, you can connect to a monitor or modern TV. You can open your PowerPoint file, then press the play button within your presentation app. office.com/myaccount
