I love this quote for a lot of different reasons. There are many ways this can be interpreted and given meaning but from a Childrens Ministry context, I feel like the concept of roots and wings is something that rings so true. If we are to give our kids the best hope for the future, the gift we can give our students, bus riders and own children is teaching and experiences that build a set of deep roots in Word and Truth, and talk about opportunities and possibilities that they can soar towards as they grow and go.
